Why- They are installing solar panels in their homes because it helps save energy. Also, San Francisco is really foggy so they don't get enough sunlight to grow crops and to have healthy food to eat. That is why they installed the panels. The panels make sunlight!

In my opinion I think that installing the panels is a great idea for the people in San Francisco! Now they people don't have to pay a big electricity bill because they panels provide electricity for them! Overall, the people living in San Francisco are very smart to install these fabulous panels!
